Dodgers News: Corey Seager Progresses From Injury, Still Held Out of Starting Lineup (Dodgers Nation)



The ever-important Corey Seager is out of the Dodgers starting lineup for the fifth straight game as he recovers from a lower back issue and the win-loss record is feeling it.

Seager has been LA’s best hitter in the early goings of the short season and his loss paired with an allover slump from the rest of the lineup has been poorly timed for sure.

In an otherwise salty pregame media scrum on Zoom, manager Dave Roberts did have a positive update on his star shortstop.

He’s a full participant today. So, he got treatment, he’ll hit in the cage. Gonna do some running, take some grounders, take batting practice in a group.
