Dodgers: Corey Seager Could Be Moved to the Injured List This Week (Dodgers Nation)



Another day, another Corey Seager update for Dodgers fans. The hot-hitting shortstop is battling through some back soreness that took him out of Friday night’s game. Yesterday, it seemed like Seager was going to be back pretty quickly. But now, there is some room for worry in the organization. 

In a press conference prior to Sunday’s game, Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said that Seager could potentially see some time on the injured list. Seager had yet to get involved in any sort of baseball activity since he left the game on Friday. 

What started as a diving play at short might end up with Seager missing some time. If he does have to hit the injured list, expect Chris Taylor and Enrique Hernandez to see more time at short. The Dodgers could also once again recall infielder Zach McKinstry, or pivot to Gavin Lux back at second.

Both Taylor and Hernandez have not hit particularly well through the first 15 games of the season. Of the two, Chris Taylor has been a little bit more consistent in getting on base….
