Cardinals-Cubs postponed after another St. Louis coronavirus case (New York Post)

The Cardinals season remains at the mercy of coronavirus.

After three straight days of negative tests, at least one new Cardinals player tested positive for coronavirus on Friday morning and their Friday game against the Cubs at Busch Stadium — set to be their first since July 29 — was postponed.

The Cardinals previously had seven players — including nine-time All-Star Yadier Molina — and six staffers test positive for COVID-19. St. Louis was 2-3 when their season was put on hold and previously had series against the Brewers and Tigers postponed.
