Undeniably, the fit between the Los Angeles Dodgers and Dellin Betances has been there. Recently the Dodgers were mentioned to be interested in the key reliever and former New York Yankee.
Now, Joel Sherman furthers that report with a little deeper update. Therefore, here is Sherman’s tweet from the MLB Winter Meetings in San Diego:

Indeed, Sherman says the Dodgers are among the most aggressive on Dellin Betances. Furthermore, this makes a great deal of sense.
While the Dodgers missed out on Gerrit Cole – and no one of that caliber exists on the market in the way of a starter – now the organization pivots. Next, they look to acquire as many high-leverage relievers as possible. Of course the thought process would be to fill the bullpen with high-octane arms to shorten the game when a starter exits.
