The Lakers may have had their 10-game winning streak snapped by the Dallas Mavericks on Sunday, but they still had the support of some fellow Los Angeles sports figures. Dodgers teammates Cody Bellinger and Kenley Jensen, along with the legendary manager Tommy Lasorda were all courtside to back the purple and gold.
The Lakers rolled out the blue carpet especially for Cody Bellinger, naming the National League MVP as an honorary captain before the game.
During the game, Bellinger caught up with Lakers reporter Mike Trudell how after winning an MVP, seeing LeBron James — a four-time MVP in the NBA — keeps things in perspective for him.
